CELEBRATING THE HARVEST FESTIVAL, THE LAUNCH OF 1 AVENUE RESIDENCE & THE GRAND OPENING OF 10 STAR CINEMAS

On June 29th, 2024, WK Consortium Sdn Bhd and 10 Star Cinemas officially joined hands in the grand opening of the first ever cinema in the Northern Region of Sabah. Located in 1 Avenue Commercial Centre Kota Marudu, the cinema features 6 screening halls with a seating capacity of up to 500 customers.

The event also celebrated the launch of WKC’s latest residential project in Kota Marudu – 1 Avenue Residence - which includes 360 units of 1 to 4 bedroom apartments. Selling prices start at a mere RM258,888.00.

These latest ventures in Kota Marudu aim to provide more job and career opportunities to the youth of Kota Marudu. It also supports the vision of WKC to improve the pace of economic development in this under-served district. Indeed, the company hopes that these ventures will encourage further investment into Kota Marudu from both private and public sectors.

The event was attended by prominent figures, including Deputy Finance Minister 1 Sabah, YB Datuk Julita Mojungki, and YM Tunku Dato’ Yaacob Khyra – the Executive Chairman of MAA Group Berhad.
